Nobel in Medicine awarded to Telemere researchers.

Three American physicians and researchers were awarded the 2009 Nobel Prize in Medicine for their insights on the role of telemeres in aging and cancer.  Their work has enormous implications for extending the life of humans.  It is generally agreed that these little caps at the end of our telemeres represent a limit to our absolute life span.   Click Here to read more about telemeres and why the Nobel committee felt that this discovery is so important to human health.
